Summary

THE STORE LEAD IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPORTING THE STORE MANAGER AND LEADERSHIP TEAM TO ACHIEVE ALL STORE GOALS AND INITIATIVES THROUGH DRIVING SALES, COACHING TALENT AND EXECUTING COMPANY INITIATIVES. IT IS CRITICAL THAT A STORE LEAD REPRESENTS THE BRAND, OPERATES IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER, DEMONSTRATES EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DRIVES A CONSISTENT MESSAGE TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS.

Talent

- Supports the leadership team in driving the business through coaching sales associates and identifying external talent to contribute to a successful store team

- Participates in the interviewing process, and provides feedback on candidates using core competencies

- Fosters a positive work environment and provides direct, objective feedback in a timely manner to improve associate performance

- Provides the appropriate level of feedback to sales associates on a daily basis and to the Store Manager during the annual performance review process

- Models, encourages and demonstrates exceptional customer service behaviors while on the sales floor Brand

- Motivates and inspires the associates to build Brand loyalty and create a positive store environment for both internal and external customers

- Serves as a positive role model for others in driving and maintaining high standards throughout the store while ensuring the integrity of the Brand and providing an exceptional customer service experience

- Supports the Store Manager to execute and maintain all visual standards and floor sets to company standards delivering a strong Brand presentation

- Executes company standards of all merchandise presentation, sizing, signage and displays

- Supports the Store Manager in executing and maintaining the overall inventory management strategy

- Replenishes merchandise in order to maximize sales and ensure consistent sizing standards

- Supports Store Manager in remerchandising floor based on company direction and store inventory levels to maximize sales and sell through

- Represents the company in a professional and positive manner Operations

- Maximizes productivity through operational and product knowledge, customer service and participates in completing key store initiatives

- Trains associates and monitors compliance to all company standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Supports in providing an exceptional shopping experience to our customers and store sales results by coaching associates’ behaviors through the Leader on Duty (LOD) program

- Protects company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures

- Processes Payroll weekly

- Supports Store Manager to modify schedule based on business climate

- Maintains a clean, organized and efficient stockroom, adhering to a Customer Ready Environment (CRE) Standards & Safety requirements

Education and Experience

 1 – 3 supervisory experience, specialty retail preferred

- High School diploma or equivalent required

- Must be at least 18 years of age Business Knowledge and Critical Skills
